Akemi Koda, CEO of USAsia Venture Partners meets with California Government alongside JCCNC and Japan Business Association of Southern California

June 14th – 15th, 2023 – Akemi Koda, CEO of USAsia Venture Partners met with California’s Government (Senators, Assembly Members, Go-Biz, and the California Chamber of Commerce) along with the JCCNC and the Japan Business Association of Southern California to enhance collaboration between the 5th and 3rd largest economies in the world: California and Japan.

Discussions were held about co-creation in three areas: Combating Climate Change, Transition to Clean Energy, and Promotion of Innovation.

The discussions also focus on topics such as Carbon Neutral Ports and Green Shipping Corridors, High-Speed Rails, International driver’s license mutual acceptance, etc.

 


We are so honored by the introduction of the delegation conducted by Senator Wiener at the State Capitol’s Senate Chamber and are grateful to everyone for sharing their time to meet and discuss such important topics.
