Akemi Koda, CEO of USAsia Venture Partners, will be the judge at the JETRO Japanese Startup Pitch.
Japanese Startup Pitch at Presidio is an event where 8 Japanese startups selected from
the pool of 25 companies participating JETRO’s J-StarX Program. These startups, mostly
focusing on digital transformation (DX), present their innovative ideas to a panel of
judges, mentors, and fellow participants.
This is also a part of JETRO San Francisco Office’s new attempt to host pitch events at
historic area of the Presidio in San Francisco. Participating startups will discover the
accumulated history of trailblazers from the age of Gold Rush to Generative AI with a
breathtaking vista of the Golden Gate Bridge which has long welcomed entrepreneurial
ventures from the other side of the Pacific Ocean.
